LPG Terminals

Aurex offers a full range of equipment and design solutions for the construction of LPG terminals in accordance with the investor's wishes. Our solutions are fully compliant with the latest requirements for the design, construction and use of LPG terminals.

LPG Terminals

A modern LPG terminal consists of the following standard technological parts:

  • A station for receiving liquefied petroleum gas (propane-butane) (tapping and filling front for railway tankers)
A railway siding, equipped with a flyover for technological devices for unloading gas from railway tankers. As an option, there is a possibility of loading into railway tankers at the same stations.
  • Compressor room
The compressors are designed for unloading rail tankers and subsequent suction of the remaining gas phase.
  • Gas tank park
High pressure above-ground tanks (mostly clogged). Equipped with all necessary control and measurement devices. Due to the high purchase costs of tanks, it is very important to correctly select the volume of the tank park, which should ensure uninterrupted work of the terminal within the set time.
  • Pumping station
Designed for loading road tankers, reloading gas between tanks as well as forcing gas to the gas cylinder filling hall.
  • Car tanker filling and unloading station
Here, a precise and quick loading of road tankers that deliver gas to customers takes place. As an option, it is possible to unload the tanks at the same stations.
  • Measuring devices
Volumetric or mass flow meters for measuring the transported medium inside the terminal and during commercial sales.
  • Weighing for railway or truck tanks
  • Gas cylinder filling hall
Liquid gas cylinder filling equipment. Additionally, there may be devices for checking and repairing cylinders.
  • Terminal monitoring and control system
It gives the operator the ability to control all technological processes and keep product records. It allows to minimize the emergence of emergency situations and minimize product losses.
